Purolator Disposable Facet Aire Filter Products
The Purolator 1" facet
filter 3(F312) and 2" Purolator 2F (2F) disposable panel fiberglass
filters are designed to withstand the demands of industrial, commercial, and
residential hvac applications. Purolator assures their facet filter durability
by utilizing construction features not found in traditional designs.
The Frame
Both the Purolator disposable air filter F312 (1") and 2F (2”) Purolator
air filter frames are produced using 100% recycled post consumer materials. The
unique and innovative Purolator monobond concept involves a one-piece frame
sealed to the media under heat and pressure. This construction feature produces
a continuous bond of filter media to board around the periphery of the frame
eliminating weak corners and air bypass.
Filter Media
Both the Purolator air filter F312 (1") and the 2F (2") furnace
filters are manufactured with superior grade fiberglass filter media to
guarantee full depth loading and high dust holding capacity. A computer
controlled manufacturing process assures a uniform gradient density pattern in
the media. To enhance filtration capability and prevent migration of finer
particles, the filter media is evenly coated with a gelled adhesive. Overall
furnace filter integrity is assisted by the addition of a tri-directional scrim
backing to the downstream side of the media. This scrim backing is laminated to
the fiberglass and provides downstream support while promoting minimum fiber
displacement at high velocities and reducing restriction to air flow.
All Purolator disposable 1" and 2" furnace air filters come 12 to a case.
