Flanders filter products are heavy duty air filters that have two metal media retainers, one upstream and one downstream. These disposable air filter products do a very good job of catching large airborne particles such as lint and dust to protect the heat exchangers and evaporator coils of furnaces and central air conditioners. These disposable air filter products also offer very low airflow resistance for excellent energy economy. It is recommended that these ez flow  air filters be changed monthly to prevent unloading, a condition where a dirty filter begins to lose some of the dirt and dust back into the air stream.
