DP8 Pleated Air Filters MERV 8 The DP8 air filter is made with a dual layer of high loft electrostatically charged fibers on the air entering side for high dust holding capacity with a scrim backing for higher efficiency and strength. The DP8 air filter does not support microbial growth. The DP8 air filter has a uniform pleat shape that holds more dirt. Consistent pleat shape produce optimum performance. Sophisticated production control techniques assure consistant pleat count, pleat height, pleat shape and spacing. The DP8 air filter is made with water repellent adhesive that adheres even when wet. The adhesive used to bond the frame and media pack into a unitized assembly is highly water repellent. The pleats hold together even when wet. No delaminating, no excessive buckling, and no collapsing. The DP8 air filter efficiency rating is 1.7 times higher on one micron particles and 1.5 times higher on five micron particles compared to standard cotton / poly media.
