Pleated Furnace Filters - Pleated furnace filters are generally made of a high-loft,
non-woven cotton/synthetic media blend. Pleated filters are an upgrade from disposable
fiberglass furnace filters. Most pleated furnace filters will last up to 90 days. They
also have a V shape pleat which allows for greater surface area and higher dust and dirt
retention. Pleated furnace filters are constructed with a moisture resistant board frame.
Electrostatic Permanent Furnace Filters - Electrostatic furnace filters are a permanent
furnace filter that you never replace. When it gets dirty you just wash it with a mild
detergent and warm water and put it back in your furnace.
